What are your price ranges?
At Black Tie and White Satin, we have hand selected a collection of gowns between $900 and $4,500. The majority of our gowns will be in the $1400-$2000 range. We also have an amazing selection of store samples that are discounted and sold directly off the rack.
Do I need an appointment to shop for a wedding dress?
Appointments are not required but strongly recommended. We want you to enjoy your shopping experience with a relaxed atmosphere. To ensure we have one of our Black Tie and White Satin bridal stylists working directly with you, we encourage you to book an appointment with us HERE. Our goal is to find the perfect dress for you!
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, on Sundays, Black Tie and White Satin is open from Noon - 4pm!
What should i bring to try on gowns?
It’s a great idea to bring a strapless bra and shoes with a heel similar to the height you plan on wearing for your wedding. Also, feel free to bring photos and pins from Pinterest of styles you admire! At Black Tie and White Satin, anything that may make you comfortable and have a great experience is ok for you to bring along!
Are photographs allowed in your store?
Yes! Our Black Tie and White Satin Stylists really encourage anyone to take as many photos as you wish. We also have great photo opportunities after choosing your beautiful gown.
Will you discount on price?
If a dress becomes discontinued and can no longer be ordered, we do offer a discount on that sample. At Black Tie and White Satin, we are always running pop-up deals as well. Keep an eye out on social media to see when those are happening. Also, we offer a 10% discount on bridesmaid dresses when the bride has purchased her gown with us!
What is the timeline for ordering the items for my wedding?
Bridal gowns - 8-12 months in advance of the wedding.
Bridesmaid dresses - 5-6 months in advance of the wedding.
(Is your wedding sooner than that? You are always welcome to purchase an in-stock dress. Some designers offer rush designs for an additional fee.)
Veils and accessories - 2-3 months in advance of the wedding.
Black Tie and White Satin is dedicated to finding you your perfect dress no matter the timeline you may have.
Do you offer alterations?
Black Tie and White Satin does not offer in-house alterations. We do have a list of recommended seamstresses in the area that we can get you in touch with!
How many people can come with me to my bridal appointment?
We understand there are many special people in your life that want to be a part of this momentous decision; however, too many opinions can be detrimental. Try to limit your guests to those who understand your personal style and overall look/feel of your wedding. At Black Tie and White Satin, we recommend having up to 5 guests with you at your appointment. More may be added, just give us a call and see about the space availability!
