What are your price ranges?
We have hand selected a collection of gowns between $700 and $2,200. We also have a selection of store samples that are discounted and sold directly off the rack.
Do I need an appointment to shop in your store?
Appointments are not required but strongly recommended. We want you to enjoy your shopping experience with a relaxed atmosphere. To ensure we have one of our bridal stylists working directly with you, we encourage you to book an appointment with us HERE. Our goal is to find the perfect dress for you.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, we are open from Noon - 4pm!
What should i bring to try on gowns?
It’s a great idea to bring a strapless bra and shoes with a heel similar to the height you plan on wearing for your wedding. Also, feel free to bring photos and pins from Pinterest of styles you admire.
Are photographs allowed in your store?
Yes! We also have great photo opportunities after choosing your beautiful gown.
Will you discount on price?
The only time we will discount is if the dress becomes discontinued and can no longer be ordered. We do offer a 10% discount on bridesmaid dresses when the bride has purchased her gown with us.
What is the timeline for ordering the items for my wedding?
Bridal gowns - 6-12 months in advance of the wedding.
Bridesmaid dresses - 5-6 months in advance of the wedding.
(Is your wedding sooner than that? You are always welcome to purchase an in-stock dress. Some designers offer rush designs for an additional fee.)
Veils and accessories - 2-3 months in advance of the wedding.
Do you offer alterations?
We have a preferred seamstress with 25 years of experience who is an expert in her field. She does all her alterations in her studio and is not directly affiliated with Black Tie and White Satin.
How many people can come with me to my bridal appointment?
We understand there are many special people in your life that want to be a part of this momentous decision; however, too many opinions can be detrimental. Try to limit your guests to those who understand your personal style and overall look/feel of your wedding.
